Restaurant Rhypark
Mühlhauserstrasse 17
4056 Basel, Switzerland
You'll find the "Rhypark" in the heart of St. Johann, a lively quarter in Basel town. Located directly next to the Rhine, you have a beautiful view at Basel's skyline, the promenade along the Rhine and the park close by are perfect for a stroll. In the "Rhypark" you'll find the main hall for dancing as well as locker rooms and showers, and the inhouse restaurant will provide you with meals, snacks and drinks. On saturday evening the Restaurant will offer "Fondue Chinoise à discretion" ("all you can eat") for CHF 25.- per person; please make a reservation by E-Mail and state how many people will attend.
Private Transport
You can reach the "Rhypark" almost directly by using the highway. Coming from Germany and not having a vignette (for swiss highways necessary and costs CHF 40.-) should leave the highway (A5/E35) already in Germany and cross Border at "Weil am Rhein/Zollstrasse" (Leave Highway at exit 69, then follow "Colmarer Strasse" until you reach the customs). If you come from France, you can leave the Highway just after crossing the border.
Just a few minutes from the "Rhypark" you can park your car at the "Novartis Campus". You will have to ask us for a free parking ticket which you put in your parked car. Coming from the north (you will have to cross the Rhine) use the right lane on "Dreirosenbrücke", you will pass the bridge on the lower lewel and leave the tunnel on the other side again, where you turn right to directly access the "Novartis Campus" Parking. Use Map24 (or a similar service of your choice) to plan your itinerary.

From Zürich Airport you can reach Basel in about 1 hour by train. Detailed train schedules for the swiss railway you can find here: SBB (e.g. from: "Basel Euroairport" or "Flughafen Zürich" to: "Basel SBB").
Detailed schedules and information for the trams and buses in Basel you can finde here: BVB. Note: to buy tickets for the public transport you'll need swiss coins. Or you can buy a "Tramkarte" (a multi ticket) at a kiosk.
For renting a car you can do so at both airports. Easyjet homepage offers car rental deals, otherwise check those sites: Europcar, Avis, Hertz, Sixt und Alamo.
